RcTek - Adobe Acrobat PDF File Information

Many of the files on this site are in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).

This does mean you will need the Acrobat Reader software installed on your machine to be able to view them.

Opening/Saving PDF Files

When opening links to the PDF files, they will normally open inside the browser window. Some of these files are quite large and if you would therefore like to save them directly to your own computer, follow the instructions below.

Right click with the mouse and then left click on the Save Target As… or Save Link As… option.
Choose a suitable directory on your hard drive and click the Save button. The file should then begin downloading and you are free to continue your browsing of the site.

This tip also works with any other downloadable file on the site.

The Acrobat Software

The Acrobat software is distributed widely on computer magazine cover disks and with software, but can be downloaded from the Adobe site by clicking on the image.
