Home Technical Information FAQ Tips & Tricks Site Map Forum Links
Radio controlled model car racing, as a recognised sport, needs rules to provide boundaries for what is and, more importantly, what is not allowed.

This section of the RcTek site is devoted to providing as much information as is possible about such rules, which should serve as both a guide and a reference for the model car racer.

  Rules on the Internet
We believe that the internet provides an excellent method for sharing the rules for model car racing with others around the whole world. It also makes it easier for adapting and improving rules, as many people can put forward their thoughts and observations. This, we believe, is the way forward, as sharing allows new clubs and organisations to benefit from the existing rules. Follow the links at the top of the page for the rules we already have on line.
We have also published the BRCA Constitution to serve as a further resource as wall as a reference for any articles that transpire from feedback from this section.
Please Note that some of these pages are quite large.
  Your Rules On-Line
Please feel free to contact us regarding the rules that govern your racing, as we will publish any rules submitted in this section so that other may benefit from them.
We realise that some race organisations will try to justify not putting their rules on-line for copyright restriction reasoning, but as the majority of clubs/organisations are run as associations, all members have equal ownership of such rules and regulations (IMHO).
We personally can't see why such restrictions on the rules are being made, there is surely nothing to hide in the rules and these restrictions could be deemed to be unconstitutional under the rules agreed by the members of such organisations. Please refer to the BRCA Constitution for the basis of our interpretation.
